This is How We Do It! QAE 90s Auction

Welcome to the 2025 QAE PTSA auction—a night that will make a huge difference in the lives of our children, while celebrating everything that makes QAE so special.

This year we're doing it in style with a 90s theme! Costumes are optional but encouraged - consider 90s grunge, TRL or anything you can dream up! 

You’ll be part of a group of people rallying around the kids to provide them with social-emotional learning, reading and math specialists, supplies, and so much more (see the PTSA fundraising page to learn more about the programs we fund).

There will be a silent auction, a live auction, a party and dancing!

What is the QAE Auction?

The auction is our biggest fundraiser--and biggest party--of the year! It's a chance for care-givers, teachers, staff, and neighbors to come together for a night of dinner, dancing, community-building, and celebrating our wonderful school.

Who can come to the auction?

Anyone who loves our school! In addition to QAE families and staff, neighbors, friends and extended family are welcome to purchase tickets to attend the celebration. Please note that the auction is an adults-only event.

How can I purchase tickets? Are there pricing options?

Tickets will be made available in January and we will have tiered pricing levels. The first 50 people to buy tickets will receive early bird pricing!  We encourage you to contribute extra if you are able in order to allow our staff to attend for free!  Note that all ticket sales end February 28.

What if I don't want to bid on auction items?

That's okay, just come and eat dinner, dance your heart out, and connect with other members of our amazing QAE community.

Do I have to wear 90s attire?

You do you and "come as you are"!  Wear what you'd like and join the party.

What happens to the money we raise?

The money raised at the auction helps support many things for QAE students, including reading specialists, classroom tutors, PE equipment, community events such as Bingo Night and Culture Night, Camp Kirby, and more.  All funds will be used to support Queen Anne Elementary students and programming.  A more complete list of PTSA-supported programs can be found here.

I can't attend the auction. Is there another way I can participate in this fundraiser?

Absolutely. There are many ways to support the QAE auction listed below. Have another idea that isn't included? Email president2@qaeptsa.org.

• Join the QAE Auction Committee. Help is needed before, during, and after the event. Reach out to president2@qaeptsa.org to get started.
• Have season tickets or a vacation home?  Do you own a business or know someone who owns a business that wants to donate an experience, item, gift card or wants to be a sponsor?  Donate an item to be included in the auction or become a sponsor! 
• Bid on items in the online silent auction. See the "Online Auction" link at the top of this page.

How can I help on the night of? 

We'd love your help!  You can assist the day of the event, with set up, checking in, counting bid cards, distributing won items, etc.  We are also looking for volunteers to bake or buy a dessert for the Dessert Dash. Sign-up forms will be available closer to the event.

I can't login into the auction. I get an error that my account isn't recognized, but I had one last year.
